Lol yeah Spain's pretty fun, I hear the southern part is even better like sevilla, and granada.
So is learning Catalan a must? Or is castillan Spanish fine? I'm actually thinking of moving out there myself

I don't know about that, I'm first time here and only in Barcelona, so can't say anything about the south
If you want to live in Barcelona then learning Catalan is a must. You can go by with Spanish, but in a long run you need Catalan.
If you like warmer climate, you're easy going and don't mind learning the language, then I can recommend moving here.
I am going back to Finland in August, I like how things work there
