Yeah, I'm a smart ass. I'm also Canadian, middle aged, not wealthy and a "sort of" public servant in computer support. The Conservative Party in my country call people like me "lazy" because Trudeau ). Putting those factors together you could also conclude that I'm too stupid to get a real job. Think of me as the "indentured slave" IT guy as opposed to the "BMW" IT guy.

But all those shortcomings have been balanced by the fact that I still have all my hair. AND, except for the occasional errant strand, it's still its original colour - BONUS! Take that, all you "Mr. Perfect"s, jocks and pretty boys who got the girls in university.

As an aside:
Ladies, what is the attraction to golfers? I suppose I could respect it if it were just for an early insurance payout. I mean when the lightning takes him down. Aside from that, I don't get it.

But back to me:
I am also proudly left handed - both literally and politically. Another reason the Conservative Party has tried to direct me to the wrong polling station on the odd election day. They think I am both lazy and stupid. Well, not enough to let them win without a fight. And I've never won a fight in my life.

Somewhere in Canada, Stephen Harper is "very disappointed".

I've also been known to make "ice wine" by accidentally freezing chardonnay left in the back seat of my car over Christmas. It's still pretty fruity.

Okay, by now you must be asking yourself, why am I wasting my valuable time with this idiot? I can hear those little sighs of exasperation out there.

I am an amateur 3D graphics artist with experience working with Poser and Vue. I also venture into personal photography and photo manipulation using GIMP from time to time.

From this work, I have evolved into an even more amateurish speculative fiction author. I write brief, technical, vignettes for some of my futuristic or alienish renderings. Commentary brief enough that you'll not have a chance to become bored - I'm no Margaret Atwood. And, I hope, mostly original. Though, I will confess to being easily influenced by greater minds than the one housed in my feeble brain.

Homage: A much nicer word than 'plagiarism'.
