I'm so hooked on Seth/Eirika right now. Lol. I restarted my Fire Emblem game so I could get them together. And, since my mind has a permanent residence in the gutters, I'm imagining all sorts of things that they might do after the war. XD haha

I have a fondness for socially controversial ideas.
I also have a passion for exploring the darker sides to reality, time periods, relationships, and so on.
It was something I didn't think many would explore, and I imagined many people wouldn't approve. But if I were living the life to please everyone else, then I just wouldn't be living much of one. Ultimately, it was something that interested me.
I wanted to paint a picture of people in ways to make a point that not all things are sunshine and rainbows. I wanted to portray corruption by power, love, and life. I wanted to show a tragic and realistic perspective, something that most often don't want to acknowledge.

At least you're making a wholehearted attempt at realism. Yay for you! I can see why you can't choose between Seth and Innes. I can't either. *_* LOL. I think they're both really good for Eirika. Eirika better for Innes though.

On personal bias, I like Innes more than Seth. Seth has many, many redeeming qualities about him. He is strong and kind, compassionate, but not without some power in his position with beliefs, thoughts, and actions.
Innes has more of a professional outlook and in a way, is more fit for battlefield expertise and leading a country. He doesn't tend to allow his feelings to affect actions taken in war. He's less likely to become irrational or to be driven to brash action.
As a more logical and calculating person, I associate myself more with Innes and I've always had a bit of a soft spot for him. Eirika would be a good complement for him. They are both excellent men for that form of serious relationship, but with Inness being the professional and rigid man he is, Eirika's soft demeanour is more an asset for him.

To be really fair, if there is enough canonical subtext, any game with multiple endings, especially one where the endings are a result of character 'ships', nearly everyone in every single Fire Emblem game in one way or another, can be shipped with one another. Fire Emblem is great for the open-minded writer.

On a random note, what happens if you get Seth's and Innes' support with Eirika to A lvl before the ending?

From what I recall, there's really no grand change in storyline. It's basically Innes and Seth both telling Eirika in their own special ways, that they want to be with her. Nothing really concrete happens until you reach Support Level S. But then, you can only have one S Level relationship per character.
So from an outside point of view, it just really makes Eirika look excessively indecisive over who she should be with and why.

I had no idea there's a lvl S. How's that achieved? Website (and guidebook) only mention A lvl.

After you accomplish A, you can get an S, but if I recall correctly, it definitely takes some time and patience. It's the same procedure, though. Keep your two units together that are compatible.
I think this will still work in the original GBA game, but if you go into the tower that lets you grind your levels as you go up floors, you can work on your support levels in there. I'm pretty sure that's how I did it when I last completed a play through.
