I am an Asian girl who has faced lifelong discouragement from drawing, from her family, from herself. "There are more important things! Stop looking at art and go study!" I accepted this; I knew there were "more important things" and that art is "useless"...
Well. I study. I do exceedingly well in my academic endeavors.
But I regret not drawing...I want to draw, I want to improve, I don't want to be at a standstill. I love drawing, and I want something to come out of that love. There's no absolute reason that I can't continue to do well in school and draw at the same time.

Because chemE is a bitch and I have nothing but doodles drawn in the margins of my scratch paper meant to be used for calculations. 
I get quite sad whenever my mind wanders to days that I thought I was busy, but still was able to make time for drawing. Perhaps in my senior year I can set aside some hours for CGing again.
I'd actually like to know where you are nowadays.

Doodles are better than nothing, maybe you should keep a mini sketch book with you (like 3x4") to doodle in instead of line paper, make yourself feel at least semi-artsy. In class we used to carry our pencils as well as a color pencil or two to do two toned sketches while taking notes XD Alhtough we took notes in sketch books <_<
I'm actually in Maryland right now with my boyfriend ^_^; i'm not working right now, mostly drawing and being a pretend housewife haha

Heh, a number of people have found my page through stuff posted in either Chan's classroom or the journalism room.
What do you mean...how many of you can fit...? You mean kids were crowding around? There used to be more stuff on there, but I guess over time things fall off. =/ I kind of regret tacking up original sketches rather than copies...oh well.

Not to be a creeper, but do you think you can make it to the Youth for Asian Theater show...? If you come we can talk about art before/during intermission/and after, haha...you should bring the kids in your grade, too. We have lots of Lowell students (and some teachers) who attend each year.
The best friend I have from Lowell...I met her on deviantART before meeting her irl. She's the one I'm currently having a fb graffiti PKMN battle with. Just a little random note.
