# About me
I started drawing when I was little. Nothing amazing, everything started out as blobs for the most part. The other day I looked through some of the "sketches" I had created, that my mom had kept over the years. Funny how a 5 year old mind works and was able to get this elaborate picture, even though it wasn't clear to everyone else. But I guess that is art, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.In my opinion my art started getting better towards 5th grade. When I was 10, I began drawing more cartoon/anime. Some of the later pieces I have done similiar to this have been uploaded to my gallery already. In the beginning, I enjoyed creating my own characters. But soon I began to redraw characters I had seen on tv.
After following my passion of drawing, I took the art classes my middle school had to offer. Which one only one art class, lasting only a quarter of the school year. The teacher was nice, but the class was awful. I passed the class with flying colors, but had such a bad experience that I stopped drawing for a few years.
The summer right before my sophomore year I was back on crutches. I kept reinjurying my leg after I did a partial dislocation with my knee in gym. That problem lasted around 2 years, starting in 8th grade and ending the summer before 10th. Still unable to do martial arts, one day I found myself bored and started to doodle on pieces of computer paper. At 15, I found that I wasn't half bad when it came to realism. That before when I was drawing what I saw, even though it was in a more anime style, that, I was building up better skills for a more realistic like style. From there I was self taught, I browse google to see the natural poses and general appearance of animals. I would even go to the extent of going on youtube to view videos of how the animal moved, and look up behavioral traits of the animal.
Now at 16, I am still writing my story. I have widened my horizons by recently starting wood-burning and photography. I am still self-taught, and listen to all the critics people give me on my pieces. I enjoy browsing other people's work to bring me inspiration and new ideas of different styles there are that better bring out the personality of their creation, which in a sense, makes the piece more real to the viewer.

I've been doing great! Just extremely busy! It's contest season for my CSI class, so I am busy preparing for that and National/State Officer campaigning for SkillsUSA. But I have just finished a piece. My works wont be shown in the art show until around May, due to the fact that one of the women has to get her pieces copy righted first so people can't steal her dress designs.
