hey there my name is carlos now i want to be a manga artist (like you) and animator for youtube where i can created my storys (for hobbys of course) and also animating (if you don't about animating that fine) but i got so many questions for being an artist of manga
1.is drawing characters are easy (like use your imagination to create including some fantasy characters also) cause i create alot of characters on dress up games and took a picture of them on my phone (don't judge i was very creative)
2.you can draw background by using your imaginations? (not like took a picture and draw it right? cause i seen something fantasy like naruto,tokyo ghouls backrounds and stuff including one piece like the backgrounds from one piece are so fantasy and i'm very curious about it)
3.i seen alot of mistakes and i'm worried that i might screwed up how can you tell of which mistake you can spot? (apologize if that was offended if you know about it but again i apologize)
4.animating are easy right like you can do it on your own? (like honestly i seen alot of animators on youtube who can animate so i was wondering that it fun to do that can it? like i want to do anime series on youtube)
5.(it may or may not be an important question) is using any tablets like matter? cause i honestly seen artist who has like a few tablets and stuff and wonder which tablet to animate/draw on and also only used one tablet?
6.(this mght be from the first but maybe different) ok i been something that look so impossible like i was wondering to create a character like furry's (anthro),monster or anykind (i apologize if this was a weird qeustion) like this for example and i'm very curious about that to be honest

Yeah, I get it. It's hard. Art is hard. Networking is hard! But I find that it's usually more helpful before starting with questions and dropping links to introduce yourself and get to know someone, otherwise sending a wall of text toes the line sounding like spam or a robot.

Designing characters is easy. Designing memorable characters is difficult. I'm not sure what your question is here. So, you create a lot of characters... Cool.

Your imagination shapes everything because that's how brains work in the first place. But learn your damn fundamentals and use reference when you're learning. There is literally nothing that gives a non-professional or a greenie away more than refusing to use reference out of some misplaced sense of valor. You grow that imaginative stuff...from fundamentals. No amount of photo reference use will suppress your natural style and flare.

Of course you screwed up and made mistakes. Art is never perfect. Just try to improve with each project.

If you think animating is easy, you have a long way to go. Some animation documentaries might be a GREAT place to start. For greenies like you: start with learning animated GIFs. It's a simple, comfortable way to get comfortable with the medium.

Intuos tablets are the industry standard. Most people start with the Bamboo Fun tablet. Beyond that, nothing is a substitute for the simple pencil when it comes to practice!

Start with shape-driven characters like this interactive.miami.edu/classes/… and all the difficult stuff will slowly become easier.

I wish I had time, too, but I'm pretty much been workin since I was a kid! XD Lots of time management! I used to forgo loads of sleep while in college -- not reccommended! Now I'm older, so I've learned not to work myself to death and be a bit smarter with time. It helps, but it's still hard work.
