# About me

I hand sculpt tiny fantastical creatures and beasts out of polymer clay. My favorite things to create are dragons and all of my creations are one of a kind and made using Sculpey Premo.

I grew up in the heartland of America, and try as I might, never felt like I fit into the mold. It wasn't until I was graduated from college and married that I truly broke out of my shell and embraced, openly, all of the wonderful nerdy-ness I had always kept hidden from the outside world. I've always been crafty, but when I had my first encounter with polymer clay, I thought I had met my match! It took some time, but I can be just as stubborn as the medium I now choose to use.

I suppose it was only natural that I prefer to sculpt my favorite things, DRAGONS; and last year I finally decided to chase my dreams and my passion and start my own business. For now, it may be small, but I won't let it deter me! I've put a lot of hard work and time into HTBS, and I hope, one day, to be able to quit the 9-5 and do what I love full time.

I love working with polymer clay, but I'm still pretty new to the trade! If I'm not sculpting, you can usually find me, reading or watching tutorials on sculpting. Most days, I'm my own worst critic, but I'd be delighted if you'd give me opportunity to create a creature for you! Oh thanks! I will! I love miniatures! I just painted my very first, a Shadow Emissary by Malifaux. I need to upload pictures on here. I have some on my Instagram.
