Hmm... I can certainly help with it, yes~! But truth be told, I've never made an oto from scratch.
What I usually do is take an already made VB (usually Ritsu's because his is best IMO) and use it as a sort of base. I "sing along" with each of Ritsu's voice samples, save my voice samples as wavs (make sure your voice samples have the exact same file names as Ritsu's!), and when I'm all done, I copy and paste Ritsu's oto in with my voice samples. It's never perfect, but it's easy to "tune up" otos to match your voice samples.~ I just don't have the patience to make otos from scratch.

Haha, it's not so much about handling Hiragana, though.~ It's more about convenience.~ If it's both Romaji and Hiragana, you can use just about any and all USTs/VSQs that can be thrown at you~!
