Thanks, i looked at your doodle with interest. They are technically awkward, but the atmosphere which gets free there, pleases me. It reminds me the work of artists such as Tim Burton. You shall have to continue in this way.
(On the other hand, my English is not awesome ^^)

To be young is an advantage, you have more time to evolve. The alone good advice which I can give you is to draw, and draw, and draw ... every time.
My English seems to you good because I know how to use the translation'bots ^^.
But in oral, it's a disaster.

imageshack.us/photo/my-images/…

Hum ... I'd like to ask you to develop your opinion on what people like, but my English may not be sufficient to initiate such a conversation.
Anyway, I created for my pleasure and if it joined the others, that's fine.

the thing about people, is that they are to ignorant to appreciate good art, they prefer anything that they can relate to slightly. instead of being inspired by nature and the beautiful things of this world, the resort to the media because its "relative". not saying that theyre never inspired, but they dont have vision. every once in a while, when some one is truely inspired, and takes the time to create something , the results cant be ignored. but still, i have yet to fully develop my thoughts on what it is that people like.
i love your work, its always made clear that youre talented in capturing a feeling like in your "sous les arbres" painting, or that you have amazing skill like in your "sommets" painting. in fact, for that one, i almost thought it was a photograph.

I thank you for having answered my question. I partly agree with you.The fact that many people seems to take pleasure in easiness come, in my view, from their education. To awaken his senses in art is not innate, it is as to walk, it learns. But it is also necessary to be curious, opened by mind.
Both creations which you appreciate are the result of emotions which I could feel at the sight of real landscapes. For "Sous les arbres/Under the trees", I wanted to translate the worrying ambience of a forest of conifers in hazy evening. For "Sommets/Summits", it is fact to touch the immensity of the world, emotion which I have when that after several hours of steps towards a summit, you discover ambient panorama …
"Sous les arbres" was made in 2 hours, "Sommets" in 5 hours, two without prior sketches, feel a pain some blows of pencil of installation. I think that i was really in symbiosis with my subject, what allowed this result.
If it interests you, creation of "Sous les arbres" is in video speeded up on Youtube at following address: youtu.be/CyVWkkaCT3w

art seems to be a game of patience. even with knowledge and talent, i dont get far with out taking the time to understand what im doing and think. like you said, it also relies on an open mind, especially for natural beauty, i believe nature is a strong foundation for an artist.
to be honest, i was just looking for speed painting videos, thanks! i found it to be helpful, as i want to create a feeling like it

You believe that nature is a strong foundation for an artist ... and you're right.
Why ? Because observation is the foundation of drawing and nature contains all forms, all sets of lights that exist in this world.
If you are blind, you can't draw
