Naa... the theory say that they predicted the end (in fact, something like a change of era), and, as no one knows where they are, fanatic people (freak people) used to think that they will come in 2012, funny, isnt?

haha funny or strange or well.... but it's not just them, it is a fact that several ancient civilazations did find this coming year somehow significant, and all this in times when they wouldn't have even known about each others existance, so there is no way they just sat together and decided to scare us people in the future lol!

I concur, but i dont think people must be fanatic of something like this, cus, if it did´nt hapend? they spend a lot of time thinking in something that "probably" could happen, its just like Nostradamu´s prophecies, when nothing happen, they say that was a mistake in the math, this could happen with the mayan calendary, just because the calendar´s cicle end in 2012 dosnt meant that is the end of the world, if they barely understand the mayan lenguaje... anyway, people need something in what believe, and it is why I recomend my friends that first believe in themself, then you can believe in whatever you want.
BTW, im a believer of a lot of things, but not a fanatic

haha well i am just taking these things in a neutral way. it's a bit like... so we're gonna have the end of the world in 2012 - SO WHAT? i mean, logically speaking, what does that change for me? it's not like the fact that i acknowledge it or don't acknowledge it will change anything about if it will actually happen or not. there is nothing i can do about it, even if it were to happen. i mean, at the end of the day, they haven't even made up their mind about how it's supposed to happen. not to mention that there are so many things in the universe and on our planet that could theoretically exterminate life on earth or at least the human race, and which could happen at random any given day, that it's really pointless worrying about it all. so it might happen, it might not, lets just live on and see how it'll work out. i don't mind, if the end is to come, then well, i mean how many people never had the chance to actually see the end of the world with their own eyes?
