# About me

After I moved from The Netherlands to Scotland in 2005 I set up my own photography business PictureNature. In 2010 I sold the stock library to one of the largest independent libraries (www.picture-nature.net ). PictureNature still provides photography workshops in Scotland (www.picture-nature.com ).
While running my business I joined a local art class and found that I wanted to do more with my creative skills. Photography has become a tool for other mediums I'm experimenting with now such as acrylic, collage, textile, dried leaves and flowers, plaster, Photoshop and Illustrator. I now write regularly about my artwork and creative process on my personal blog Fenfolio at fenfolio.blogspot.com/ .
I've joined DeviantArt to further develop my artistic eye and creative skills. Hopefully you like what you see!

I wanted to let you know that a new online gallery called Asylum Artsource has just been started that is focused on connecting the emerging artist with art buyers. To get the ball rolling they are allowing the first 50 artists to use the service free for the first six months (regularly 6.00 a month). I think that your abstract art would do well on this site.
