I liken to call it writer's distention, as opposed to block, since the former is less negative-sounding than the latter.

Oh I've had my ups and downs, plenty of good story material.
But all of that is really quite secondary to it reaching close to 100 degrees where i am these past few days, it hardly goes above 70 here.
