Visiting a small ranch in midst of a fairly warm, and only growing warmer, day, was something Grigori has been looking forward to ever since meeting the American Texan. He's heard only a little about his history as well as his prized horses, and was more than happy to stop by to get a closer look. Sam was a very friendly, open man and just a bit on the reserved side, something Grig really appreciated.
This time he made sure to call that he was on his way, wanting to hear the other's voice on the other line, so he waits, letting Sam's phone ring.

The young state had conveniently just gotten home from his usual day of work at the San Antonio Humane Society. He sat down on his backyard porch with a glass of ice cold water in hand;
watching his two dogs play with each other on the grass. He let out a slightly tired sigh. The past couple days at work had been busy for him, more so than usual. They had gotten a stray
with a badly damaged leg brought in who seemed to have barely any appetite. Being the type of guy that he was this of course greatly worried him. He slightly shook his head to clear it.
There wasn't much he could do about it anyway so it would be best not to dwell on it.
Just then he felt his phone ring in his pocket. Sam took it out and looked at it with slight surprise once he read the caller ID. Grigori. He hadn't seen or talked to the red-head in a while now
that he thought about it. He quickly pressed the answer button and put the phone to his ear. "Hey Grig what's up?"
