I thought that might be be the translation but with out digging myself in too deep, shouldn't the Latin be flammeus or even flammia in the feminine?

Honestly I'm not sure. The 1-"m" spelling came from Ciruelo Cabral's "Book of the Dragon" to describe the western fire dragon. May be a misprint, because I'm almost certain there should be 2 "m"s. It's bugged me for ages. When translating, flameus gives nothing, whereas flammeus means "fiery". Flammia translates to "flame". Of course, I'm using Google, as I can't find much else online and know very little about how Latin works. Still, after this convo, I just may update my name.
