All is good - I had to change my project so I'm not doing DNA analysis on a medieval mass grave skeletal collection to screen them for pathogen DNA - so looking for TB and plague and typhoid, etc. It's very interesting stuff

Meanwhile, I'm actually on holiday in Tunisia at the moment and having another decent stab at getting the plotline sorted for my book. I'm hoping to actually publish it as an ebook on Amazon in the coming year

Ooo I kind of miss highschool... I feel so old Some guy though I was 35 today (to be fair he was probably in his mid-60s) and I was horrified. Did not help me to feel any less old

Haha yeah, it's more archaeology with forensic methods but that's ok. I'm lecturing and running the forensic archaeology module for the 3rd year undergrads in January. Words cannot describe how utterly terrified I am D:

Tunisia is gorgeous. I'm going to see Tunis on Tuesday to gaze at all the beautiful mosaics

It is lots of fun and I feel motivated about getting it done so I should work extremely hard on it. I love my characters so much and holidays are the best time to daydream up ideas

It's so weird huh? It's like when you're really young and someone says you look older, you're always happy. But once you're older and someone says you look older than you actually are, it makes you horrified. I get the same thing XD

Aw wow forensic science? That's so cool i could never do something sciencey, i used to want to be a marine biologist but medical thigs put me in a state where I got talked out of it :'D
I'm planning on taking an animation and illustration course ^^
I want to specialise in CGI animation but heaven knows - while I'm in there I might fall in love with the illustration side of it....i do love it after all

Thinking of employ-ability though cgi is a much much better choice :'D

Haha yeah. Ironically I too used to think I could do nothing sciency and then degree after degree became more and more sciency until I realised that actually now Im pretty much a scientist haha. Funny really.

Oooo animation sounds like an awesome plan :-D CGI too!

Employablity is a scary thought! I seriously hope that with a PhD I'll be able to get a decent job in London but we'll just have to see!

Yeah you're pretty much a scientist already xDD i wish I could do somethign mentally stimulating like that without getting bored xDD No forensics is something i was keenly interested in at one point myself, it's a shame I didn't carry it through....better money than an artists wage xDD I've pretty much accepted the fact I'm going to be living off noodles for the rest of my life xDD But - I'll have a dream job, so I can compensate ;3;

Yeah I mean I'd love more than anything to go into 2D animation, but i just want to go itno animation in egneral so im more than happy to be doing a cgi course, there's loads of jobs in that comparatively speaking anyway xD Like tv, adverts, cartoons, movies, special effects, I could take it any way - but I'm pretty limited with a 2D degree :I

I'm sure you will do great as an artist - I think it's very important to do what you love. That is a wide range of specialisations I'm sure you will be able to find something fitting
