Be proud... Hm, that's an interesting feeling to have.
I fully understand that you don't mean "be arrogantly proud" of what I do, but I'm not "proud" of them in the true sense of the word.
I think to be "proud" of my drawings, I must think they are "amazing" or spectacular or something to that effect. Or feel somewhat accomplished. But I don't. And I cannot tell you why>

I totally get what you mean, proud wasn't the type of word I was looking for really. I need to think of this.
As you say it's interesting.
Just if I draw something that I really believe to be good for my level I feel like I may be getting better and I wish for that.
Just when wanting have nothing of approval, like a competition or something. I want to feel good about stuff without having the earning to show it of to someone else. Not because I'm afraid of them turning it down, just I want it to be my view of it and mine alone.
