It's been over 2 ½ weeks, almost a month before our 2 yr anniversary came up. He has made no attempt to contact me with an apology or remorse. Nothing. It sucks. I really believed he was the one for me.

Was it a long distance relationship I take it? Someone young too I assume? Young mens attention is like like that of a goldfish sometimes. Often can't see what they have in front of them until it's long gone. You deserve more than that. I know it still hurts. But you are young, good looking, smart, funny, and much much more. You will be the one to come out ahead in the long run. I promise you that. Hell, i'd give my right arm to have a woman like you. Yet women like you are extremely rare. So if he doens't see that, he isn't someone who would treat you the way you should be in the years ahead. So don't be sad, The right man for you will come your way when you least expect. it. ^_^

It wasn't long-distance, we lived 20-30 min away from each other. In fact, we actually met each other at a dance 2 years ago. We would go to church together, most of the time he'd come with me to mine and sometimes I would visit his church with him. We both, in the beginning, wanted to marry each other. He wanted to show me he was different than other men I've dated, said he longed to be my provider, my shelter, and many more sweet things he told me. It wasn't until after a year we had been dating that I had begun to notice his personality started taking another shape. He started hiding things from me, started asking for space often from me, basically he was pulling stuff that guys would pull after they barely start to talk to the girl 2-3 weeks after dating. Now, sometimes I had talked about marriage and I thought he was ok with talking about the future... then 3-4 months later, he starts a fight with me- saying I was pressuring him for marriage and that I shouldn't make him feel so guilt about when I found out he sent an after-shower pic to a girlfriend of his. I only found out because his friend told me, not him. Fast forward to months, to this month, and he starts to insult me (in my recent poem, I share in italics all he said to me), repeats that I have been demanding a ring for marriage, says I rode with him free all this time and pretty much said I would be a crappy spouse if I wouldn't help him financially (even though I did help with gas when he'd help me get to and from rehearsals in the show we were both in) demands I apologize to his parents (because apparently, in his mind, I offended them. But I didn't. I was just making a comment about them watching the Bachelor, and how it surprised me that they liked watching it. I texted him twice, saying that I'm not judging them. I was just curious is all). Then a week later, after I learned to ignore him because he's the one that had done wrong, he messages me on fb messenger, saying 'have a good life. blessings' Of course I thought, what a bunch of bullcrap. He weenied out on not doing the breakup in person and he messaged me while I was attending church with my family.
So yea, young men really do have the attention span of a goldfish. Or maybe worse- Patrick Star lol. He was only 7 years older than me. He's 33 yrs old. And he chooses the breakup tactic of a 13 yr old.
You're so sweet to help me feel encouraged when I feel so down, Fred. And you know what? You're so right. It's so sad that he doesn't realize what he's missing out on- or maybe he will, but like you said, it'll be too late. I'll be gone doing something else that makes me happy. You've made me cry a lil bit in happiness and you made me blush 
Sorry for the long paragraph, but I thought I'd share what it is that happened and how I got heartbroken to this point in time. You deserve someone awesome, my friend. Someone who will love you, respect you, support you, and will treat you like the king you are in that woman's eyes. I hope and pray you're having a great, fantastic weekend.
