BTW, I gave you my email if you wanted to reply (not that I expect you'd remember me as we only just met talking last time). Were you thinking of coming back to the states from Canada? I myself am moving soon, to Reno Nevada. Summer of '15.
As far as Affect3D goes: hey I totally understand if you're ducking out for other reasons (intrigue, tension, and whatnot). If you're worried you're "out of your league" with them, don't. You have plenty experience making custom models (evident by your work). I'm sure they would welcome you, even just with what you do (Ecchi and style). Even without a professional render.

What makes to think I'm not into hentai? Also those sites are freakin awesome and I've seen their work before. Can't say that they would be very interested in me to be honest. These guys are pros with render techniques. I'm just a hobbyist and a novice compared to them. Actually I don't see a lot of animated content on their site which makes me think they and only doing storyboard renders and images. I actually prefer the animation aspect. Here is a hentai sample I did for a friend on our forums: [link] . Was a challenge at first but can't say it's so spectacular.

I should clarify: consuming it and producing it are two different things. Most guys consume it, period. Producing it on the other hand, I know the qualms about not wanting to be solely known for making smut. I've been facing a similar question for myself before I start in.
Personally I've decided I'll go into the 18+ as far as I'm comfortable but also work on other things too.
*shrug* Maybe I'm just a novice with an untrained eye. On the bright side I don't have anything biasing my point of view either.
Anyway, I've looked at some of their featured artists--they're not *all* top professionals. They appear to have a wide range of people with differing skill sets and levels of experience. Plus both communities are looking to grow. I'm scouting. Regardless whether or not I'm taken seriously, I will continue on.
