Hello, welcome to my DeviantArt gallery!
My name is CanelaRose , and I am a varied hobbyist, artist, singer, and aspiring world traveler.
I am female and a product of the 90s. While I was made in Mexico, I am pretty white and only speak a broken sum of Spanish (my love of language, unfortunately, hasn’t gifted me with the discipline to learn more than English, but… Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch! >nah.. ich vergesse alles Deutsch, lol<).
I have a Bachelor of Music, applied in voice, and graduated with honors in 2015. I’m still trying to figure out what living means, and still haven’t found anything I really want to do with my life job wise. I am currently pretending to study for the CSETS (I’mgoingtodie) to get a teaching credential, however.
I’d honestly prefer to stay home all day learning a new craft and magically having money to fulfill my traveling dreams … but dreams of princes, faeries, and castles are.. just that, dreams, and I’ve been forced to enter the adult world, resentfully (and with much anxiety).
My other loves in life are food and my dog, Kuma, who is the bestest friend a girl could have!
If you have any questions or just want to chat send me a note! I don’t get out much, and I enjoy the conversation! (did I mention I was homeschooled and started college when I was 14? Yeah… my social skills need help xP).

I started paper sculpting in 1994. I am self taught. It took a while to get the hang of it and to learn efficient ways of cutting and shaping. While I feel I have a good handle on the medium, I feel I learn from every piece I make.

I understand that! I made my account 5 years ago because I had an app for kindle fire. It was a sketch pad that would save my drawings on DA. It wasn't until four years later that I even looked at my DA account to see what it was. I thought it was just a storage site. When I realised what it was, I removed my old drawings and put up some photos. Just a short time ago I was talked into adding some of my poems, and very recently some of my oil paintings. I have had some people give some great reactions to them. It is funny when you can slip a surprise to people!
