I love role-playing games, primarily Dungeons & Dragons. Haven't played all editions, but I want to test them all and give them a fair shake.

Have you ever tried MERP (middle earth roleplaying game) by ICE (Iron Crown Enterprise), you will probably have to pick it second hand, but definetly well worth playing. 1st ed D&D has a lot of glitches and a lot point open to interpratation 2nd ed bombed without a trace. 3rd ed is the version I am most likely to play and you will have no problem picking up a second hand, starter set for 3rd ed.

Well if you take up the quest to find the rulebooks you need in your party a magic user to zap you out once you find the quest items of course you will need a Healer, you know how rambunctious the gaming nerds can get. You yourself will have to go in as a high level ranger, the self-protection of the class and you will need the stealth to get in there and nab the rulebooks.
