HI!!!!!!! My laptop screen glitched and I couldn't use it for weeks! I've been well, though, aside from missing my laptop terribly. I couldn't WRITE! D: It was awful. I have my laptop back now, and it's all fixed (new screen!). Now my free time can be devoted to writing. X)

The colors all streaked, freezing the screen. I have a picture of it on my Cairistona facebook page, actually. I'm SO very glad to have it back! Its good to talk to you again, too! I missed writing so badly that sometimes I felt like I might go a little insane if I didn't get my laptop back! I love, love, love writing. I've written a couple thousand words this week, finally, and it feel so, so good to be writing again. Awww, thanks! X)

That doesn't sound good.
My computer has only ever blue-screened. (and that's because a whiteboard fell on me and it XD) But, it was alright after a few repairs.

Once, I virus killed this computer, and my uncle restored it. Another time it did a weird thing where it kept restarting itself and restarting itself and restarting itself when I turned it on, and one of my friends was able to fix that. This is the third problem it's had. I've been very fortunate with this laptop... I've had for eight years now!
I tried writing in a notebook, but it was much much slower, and it was frustrating to not be able to edit with ease, and it also seemed like it would waste my time in the long run because I'd just have to retype what I'd written, and my handwriting isn't the best, so it took some deciphering. I did try it, though.

OH MAY GOSH. I've HAD MINE FOR EIGHT YEARS, TOO!!
AND WHAT THE HECK.
A virus killed this computer, too! And my father got it back up and running!!! Then it did that and kept restarting and restarting and restarting, he fixed that one, too. (I Am not the nerd in the family (Geek, nerd, Whatever.)) Then it bluescreened and wouldn't turn on.
He also fixed that one, too.
XD (he is my computer savior.)

I love my laptop, too. It has been my computer since I was seven and I just love everything about it. She's been with me through so much and she still pulls along!
Ahhh, I understand. Notebooks usually make me lose interest. Did you lose interest?
I can jot down story ideas, but if I try to write a story? I find that notebook a year later and laugh at how horribly written it is and how I only wrote a little bit of the actual idea.

That's great that your dad could fix your computer! I have the sort of dad that makes me wish I didn't have a dad, BUT I have some really fantastic uncles to make up for it.
I didn't lose interest... I was still burning to write. I tried writing on my phone a bit, but that was frustratingly slow, too. But I got about 1,000 words down, which isn't bad. OH, dear... I feel you; going back and reading old stuff makes my either laugh, cringe, or smile. One time, I found this old notebook, and I had started some story, and I had written LITERALLY ONLY ONE PAGE! I have a large binder of handwritten story, though, from before I had a laptop.

I completely understand. Art takes patience. and sometimes I don't even have patience. Patience, and a good mood.
I get inspired to draw a lot, then get unmotivated when it doesn't turn out how It looked in my head or when I try to imitate a style.
Saw that. I was surprised. I'm glad there are people who can actually write something good and creative. And I love that you actually try to draw. Lots of people don't even try to. It's kinda sad.
I'll be reading more in the afternoon. XD

Art takes so much patience indeed! Especially for me... My sister can whip up a masterpiece with any sort of medium be it digital, watercolors, oil paints, acrylics, inks, pencil, pen in the time it takes me to do some scribbly lines, ink them with mistakes, and stick them into Gimp so I can start redoing it.
Aw! It's no fun when you get unmotivated. :/ When I get unmotivated on something creative I'm doing, I'm usually at the halfway point where I've put a lot of work into it so far but it hasn't shaped up yet. And I by then I've put in so much work that I don't feel right about dropping it, so I keep going.
Yeah, I don't usually update that quickly! I ended chapter 89 with a pretty rough cliffhanger, and I didn't want to leave everybody in distress over it for too long, so I had chapter 90 ready to go early. I really enjoy writing and making things, but I've been doing so much recently because I'm out of a job and have so much time on my hands. *sigh*

I like reputation and when I post something I don't like, It kinda hurts my reputation as a good artist? I guess that's what my mind says. No matter what people tell me. My brain is a stubborn little butthead.

I get that about the reputation thing. I really hesitated to post my watercolor Chromia because I didn't think it was very good, and I want to post the best stuff I do, not the so-so things. But then I look at other stuff on dA and see that people post even random doodles and other people like them, so I thought I would share it anyway. But indeed, our brains can be funny little things. Sometimes when I'm doing something or thinking something, I'll stop and go, "Why, brain?"

Indeed, there's usually nothing to lose. Unless some troll wants to be mean... though I haven't really noticed any mean people on dA. Not that I'm on it that much, but most commentors seem nice and/or supportive. So, as worst the artwork will get ignored, and at best you could make someone's day and get a happy comment and a new follower.
He! Yeah, it does seem like a program on our heads. And it's got different glitches, too. "Well, today seems like a bad day for a self doubt, so let's put that in the queue." "Error, motivation not found." "Hey, remember all the scenes from TV that make the dark seem scary?"

Several years ago, I finally, Finally got over the dark, but then I started watching Doctor Who, and it's a fabulous sci-fi show, but there are some super scary things related to the dark! And usually I'm okay, but now and then... *shakes head*

I have, in fact, never watched or seen a horror film or show in all my 28 years of life! And I plan to keep it that way. Action/adventure and sci-fi are my favorites, with a little historical stuff now and then.
