Never mind... Figured it out once I got to profile page. (lol- go figure... I didn't even know they SHOWED messages like this on here.)
Anyway, I'm doing well. Currently teaching piano and working on getting ready for art shows in the summer.
What have you been up to?

KappaChiyoko In reply to CYBERBUTTERFLY [2012-03-19 20:32:09 +0000 UTC]
Heehee, no problem. I'm not so good with computers either...
You play piano? Awesome! I bet you are real good! I hope your art shows go how you would like them to...
And I've been drawing, like usual...nothing much has changed, to be honest. I'm happy, which is nice...
Care to tell me more about the art shows? I would love to hear!

Um, sure... How do I do that? Sorry- I'm computer challenged. I can do a few things, but not much on one.

Yep- you are remembered!
Sorry I've been kinda absent from this site- I've been busy with art, and I've been doing a lot of writing (which has been posted on Fanfiction.com- under my same title 'Cyberbutterfly'... No, that's not a plug- honest)
I'm doing great- enjoying teaching piano and working on art (have a few community shows coming up) and getting excited about Christmas (my family's the little freaky Christmas people)
Thanks... Although I've been a shadow lurker on here for the most part, I'm still working on art constantly... I'm glad to know I'm still improving (work without progress is kinda pointless in my book)
So how have you been? Anything exciting going on? Anything new to report?

Don't apologize. I've been absent from this site too. Busy with life. Lol I too have an account on fanfiction.net. Though I won't plug my username ha XD What are you writing on? Care to share?
I'm glad to hear it! I'm really to happy to hear your life is filled with art and creativity. The thought makes me happy.
Scary the year's flown so fast. It's Christmas already! Yikes! What does your family do for Christmas?
I've been up and down, round the corner, hit rock bottom and rose like a bubble. Been everywhere, yet nowhere, just like this answer . Exciting? I'm not sure. I'm trying to balance my creativity with my academia. Studying molecular biology at university while trying to find the inspiration to write poetry, literature and draw portraits. Sometimes inspiration hits at funny times. Like the nights before an important exam XD. I'm going to become an aunt in 3 months time. I've very excited! I'll be a very young aunt, but I'm hoping I can connect with my niece and help teach her the wonders and wisdom of this world and be there for her when she learns the world is unfair and doesn't play by the rules. I've got so much planned for her and yet I know you can't plan for things like this. I have a whole lot of love to give my niece. I hope life doesn't disappoint.
I recently got some inspiration to write 4 new poems. I'm excited for them as I've hit months and months of dry creativity. It feels good to be inspired again. I also wrote a oneshot for a random anime and have some positive and encouraging reviews.
As for teaching. I'm doing private tutoring for mathematics, chemistry and english. I'm loving it and all it's challenges.
I'm sure by now you're bored of me xD. Tell me more about your life this year?

CYBERBUTTERFLY In reply to VanillaEnigma [2011-12-23 00:17:02 +0000 UTC]
well... Glad to know I'm not the only one. As for fanfiction.
Currently... Working on some stuff based on the series 'Supernatural'... Seriously one that runs an AU parallel to season 7 called 'Brutal Planet', and (at the moment) a lighthearted fluffy story based on the song 'The 12 Days of Christmas' called 'Angelic Days of Christmas'... I've got a few other stories that went by the wayside due to lack of response (I'm such a review wh**e).
Yeah- day to day life doesn't hold that much thrill (as in, interesting to report) but I am loving the art in the morning, music in the afternnon/evenings.
TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!!! It's FREAKY how fast it's gone... I mean, did it just turn 2011, and here we are about to hit 2012 (uh, Mayan Calendar... Smoke 'em if ya got 'em folks! psft... Yeah, like I buy into that)
Whoa... Okay- your life is W-A-Y more exciting than mine. I hear you on the 'weird inspiration' things, I think my weirest to day was getting inspiration from a stop sign! (long story)... and CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Oh- I LOVE being an Aunt, it's all the fun of being a parent, and the joy of knowing you can give the kid back when you need some space! I know you'll be GREAT at it I think the thing with kids (and aunts) is just to BE THERE for them.... Being that step away from parents, I know sometimes my nieces and nephews just like to talk. We're 'adult help' without the fear of getting scolded like with a parent.
COOL! I'm glad to find your getting inspired even with the hectic schedule. Can't wait to read the poems!
LOL- Wow- two of my three WORST subjects (I was alright at English)... Teaching is fun (well- one on one/small group teaching is fun). I'm glad your enjoying it.
Okay... Life in a nut shell.... Um... Do art, teach music, hang with hubby and friends... Yeah... That about sums it up. LOL- seriously, my life doesn't hold much excitement. What I did last year, it what I did this year... But, I happy, content, and doing what I love- so in the words of Bilbo Baggins 'It's no bad thing to celebrate a simple life'!.
So... Do you have any plans for Christmas. (well- DUH- of course you have plans!!) okay... Let me rephrase... WHAT are your plans for Christmas? We're spending Chistmas with my parents this year, and then going to Hubby's parents for boxing day- because I think BOTH our set of parents would eat us if we tried to do something different

Thanks.... Just got the Reaper Angel up and posted on here- so have a look.
Like I said- based off the 'idea' of what facing a Seraphim would really mean... Got to love Revelation- messing up the minds of generations since 0AD

Hubby and I love touring the island in summer... No matter how long we spend- we always seem to find another area to explore.

awesome. I like going up Copper Canyon (via the MacMillan-Bloedel Haul Road which is off Highway 1 in Chemainus) and up Koksilah Ridge.

Okay- so I don't know names of roads (that's more hubbies thing)... I more know it as Road that goes through.... etc, etc.
I like travelling the old Island highway though when we go places- it's just a lot more fun and sceneic than the main highway.

ahhh. Yeah, I haven't been up the Old Island highway in ages. Farthest north I've been is Campbell River.

That's so cool! It's always nice to see the finished product, but I enjoy seeing the process that goes into it as well.
Unfortunetly, I'm so hopeless when it comes to computers, I don't think I'd be able to do that. (plus, I'm a traditional artist, so I don't know if I even have the equipment to show a step by step.)
