I wonder what a writing stream is like. I'd imagine it is like trying to formulate words with your 16th century quill while a few dozen screaming demons of the pit that hate each other argue over what colour should the background be.
And perhaps you don't have to worry about bothering me, since I already bothered you.

I haven't gotten more than one person at a time to come. Even madamsquiggles came, only to leave without saying anything. Maybe I could get people more interested now I am starting an entirely new story for a contest.Β

Perhaps. But if not, there's this thing called Multi-stream which enables being embedded into another person's stream just to get the feel of writing in a less introverted crowd.
And there's skype, and playing traditional ping-pong between brains to get some ideas flowing from another person's energy.
But don't let the attention come first before the writing. Always the writing first, because without that, there won't be an audience.
