It was short lived irritating! I've often noticed that when DA has technical problems, I can still usually do some stuff through my Profile page. A few, rare, times I've had difficulties just getting on DA at all.When that happens, I google 'Soft mount foxes'.  Sure enough DA posts show up there. Then I click on one and that gets me to DA. It is nice knowing there is a 'back door' way to get there. Is that an expression in Germany? It means roughly getting to, or into, something through unconventional means.

Yes, the "back door" is a term we also use like that and I know, I have had similar situations where I could not go on home but when doing the messages directly, it suddenly worked.

Another 'back door' method I've used when I can't log onto DA properly is to do a Google search that I know will pull up pictures posted on DA. For example, if you Google 'pictures of red fox taxidermy soft mounts', you will always come up with some pictures that can link you to DA. Its kind of funny but when I do this 'Google search'type of thing I ALWAYS come up with some  pics of your mounts. I instantly KNOW they are one of your mounts because they just have that 'Braveheart Taxidermy' look to them. Have you  noticed that, too? Sometimes when I see a pic come up on DA, before I even read who did  the mount I know it was done  by 'so and so' because their work has taken on a distinctive look.

I just realized something! You know how sometimes you get a 'reply' from someone, and you're not sure what post or comment they are responding to? For the FIRST time today I realized that you can just select 'Original' above the 'Reply' box (directly below the person's avatar) and the comment that they are replying to comes up so that you can refresh your memory.   Did everyone else on DA figure this out before I did? How can I be so dumb and so smart at the same time!

LOL I found this one our earlier than you, but I never new you can view the whole comment chain from start to newest when you click on reply and then on parent to see what the whole convo was about because the original doesn´t always help.

Thank you, I didn´t have much time today either and tomorrow I will be at my therapist and working on my soft mounts again and on Wednesday I am at my normal doc who checks my legs and blood again so yeah, a busy week.
