I was rereading the Sarah sits series and not to be mean or anything but why did you feel the need to use Dooby Skoo and The Magic School Oven instead of Scooby Doo and The Magic School Bus? Just asking.

Their just meant to be stupid parody names. It keeps me from having to associate things in the story with those we have in real life. If I were to acknowledge the existence of Scooby Doo and The Magic School Bus, I'd have to acknowledge everything up to, and including, the name of the town in which the story takes place. I have no idea where it would take place in real life, and anyone who cares enough to do research could easily call me out on my bullshit.
Or maybe I just overthought it too much -w-
Either way, it's easier to write when I can keep in mind I have the freedom to make what I want as random as I like.
