It started at 2:50 pm ET (Eastern Time). I missed it both because I didn't calculate for ET being 2 hours ahead of my MT (Mountain Time; 12:50) and because we don't have ANY tv channels because we can't afford them currently. I also missed the MLP season 4 starting episodes because I wasn't at my house to start with (long story, I was up in a cabin overnight) and also because we don't have channels. Needless to say, I feel nothing short of miserable, and not just because of these two.

So recently there've been a lot of things going on beyond my control, which has lead my family into a set of problems ranging from financial to social. I've had to step up and start working in school and around the house far harder than I've ever had to before, and it's been hard. When I heard about the new MLP season and the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who I was excited beyond belief. Then, about a week before the 23rd I was asked to come up to my scout groups fireside event at our leaders seriously cool cabin. Sounds nice right? Except it was intended to be overnight from the 22nd to morning of the 23rd. That meant I would miss the season 4 premier. Unfortunately my dad wouldn't let me say no, so I ended up going and having a bad time for three reasons; 1. The cabin usually only had my scout group in it, but because it was a fireside there was a bunch more people there, including some of the young women's group. 2. We had a guy come up and have a fireside talk to the groups, but he clearly had several extremely chauvinistic and biased opinions, so it was impossible to really enjoy or listen to his talk. 3. I was too anxious to enjoy what good parts there were. So then when I finally got back home, I was seriously grumpy. And it only got worse when I realized two things; 1. My TV doesn't even have channels because we never bought a subscription, so I wouldn't be able to tune in for the premier or the 50th Anniversary. 2. I had a bunch of chores and homework to do. So I ended up missing the premier (I could have at least checked YouTube) because I was cleaning my bathroom, and I missed the 50th because I was multiplying polynomials.
And that's just what's recently happened.

Well it was weird, naturally. But the speaker on my laptop broke a while ago (so I can only use headphones) and my dog ate my headphones yesterday so I couldn't hear it. But that made it weirder XD
