# About me
In the fall of 2016, I was diagnosed with stage IV cancer which had advanced to the point where it is incurable. My oncologist estimates I can survive a year or two with treatment. I underwent surgery shortly after the diagnosis and have been on chemotherapy ever since.In spite of my illness, these past months have been some of the happiest of my life. That’s mostly thanks to the cosplayers whom I’ve met at the con’s (It’s been an honor and a privilege to work with each and every one of you!). I am also very thankful to those of you who view my work on DeviantArt and honor me by faving and sharing it with others.
Since I won’t be around for too much longer, I guess this makes my work collector’s items. I have designated in my will that my family will maintain my Deviant Art site after I am gone, posting whatever art remains and allowing others to share my work.
I will fight as hard as I can and as long as I can to stay alive, but I am at peace with my fate. In the meantime, I’ll be going to a lot of cons and posting as much as I can.

It is amazing to see how dedicated to your work and the work of other cosplayers so much. You took my picture (I was Rey) within the first 10 mins after I arrived at wondercon this year and it made my convention. Thank you so much and I hope your convention was as good as mine!

(PS: I don't know if you remember, but when I took your Elektra photo's you demanded to see how the photo's looked on my camera screen, and were not impressed. A lot of photographer's try to impress their subjects by showing them the camera display. I never do that because it doesn't reflect how my final product will look. What made the Elektra photo special was the look you gave me and post-processing to minimize the background to emphasize your face. It's that supermodel/superheroine look - like you're looking right through me. It's one of my favorite photo's from Seattle!)

Hello, I was a cosplayer at Utah's FanX on March 17th and you took a photo of a Homestuck cosplay group that I was in (if I remember correctly). I don't remember who else exactly was there, but I was cosplaying the character Kankri Vantas and I was just wondering when you'd post the photos.
