your outfit for krystal in smash bros is too adorable/badass that i hope you draw more of it <3 its just so perfect that i can just see nintendo picking it up.

So my idea worked. I wanted to portray the outfit as if it had been invented by Nintendo. I suppose they would have mixed Krystal's images from several games, as they did with Fox, whose appearance has elements not only of Star Fox Zero suit.
I don’t know if I will draw Krystal in this outfit again, but I’ll think about it. Thank you for the comment.

you're very welcome ^^ i never did like the scouters in zero/brawl or the bell shape design of fox's head in command, however i can see why they did it. My theory is they KNOW krystal is oversexualized on the internet, which is why i guess they went with an ugly pink color which doesn't go well with her blue coat. Don't even get me started on the ooc character portraits XD I love my krystal when she was sweet, caring, kind, polite, loyal, loving, supportive, patient and a tad flirty but only around fox (i ship em). On top of all that she was unique with her weapon of choice and ability to be psychic, all of it practically making her starfox's equivalent to a jedi and you captured it perfectly in your masterpiece of art in my opinion. Cartoonish, cute but with a side of badassness.
But whether you decide to draw more of her in this style or not is ultimately up to you

If I remember correctly, Takaya Imamura worked on character design. Some Star Fox fans claim that he has very poor character designs and their stories. As a result, we get the SF Command, where most of the women are "pink". Because of this, Katt's redesign seems obscure.
I believe that Krystal's oversexuality has nothing to do with it. The whole problem is with the bad authors.

I do not understand what problem you are talking about? Will your OC’s clothing look like a Kratos warrior and resemble my Krystal redesign? If so, why should it bother me?

So, basically my OC wears pieces of armor on the left arm, on the legs and on the left shoulder, just like your Krystal. Also, the armor on his shoulder is attacked by a belt that goes around his body for carry weapons. "Reference" it's not the right word, when I designed it I thought of the armor that Kratos wears. I tried to adapt those armor in the "Star Fox style", more specific in the style of the planet Sauria. When I finished it I was satisfied but then I saw your artwork and my OC was very similar to your Krystal, in the sense, how the pieces of the armor are places and how they're designed. Imagine my character with his pilot clothes underneath, without the jacket but with said pieces of armor because.... reasons in the story. By problems, I mean how people could complain that I copied your design, I didn't. You're right, there is nothing that should bother you, I just thought it was right to let you know.

It's funny, but my design of armor is not unique - many people have already painted this before (unfortunately I can’t remember the examples now, but they definitely were). I believe that there is nothing terrible when the concepts are similar, besides, your version is different: it is male, it has the elements of the pilot's suit, and there will be a different color. But thanks for forethought.
By the way, maybe this is a sign? Sometimes something gets in the way of ideas, but if you start over again, it may turn out much better (this happened to me often)

Still, your redesign of Krystal is the best I've seen so far. Also, you're right again, I think I'll start all over again because i'm not so sure i like what i made now that i've seen your amazing work. ( and because i wasn't sure before .... and because now I have better ideas hehe)

Hello everybody!
To celebrate the new Super Smash Bros Ultimate, I'm hosting a big Art Collaboration.
I would be really happy if you would join or just ask a friend if they're interested.
Here is what it's about:
Draw an open ssbu character from the list (link at the bottom) and draw them. That's all.
All of them will be edited into one big artwork. Everybody will be credited of course.
Just write me in the comments what character you will draw and I'll add you to the list.
-you can draw more than one character
-there is no deadline
-no NSFW stuff (obviously)
-no background
-the resolution should be between around 700x700 pixel and around 1'000x1'000 pixel
-except if you draw in a pixel or pixelized style
-can be a higher resolution
-(I can scale it down but if I try to scale it up it gets kinda blurry
